Jarrin Kirksey - Chief Executive Officer
As managing partner, Jarrin brings over 10 years in experience as a marketing and technology specialist working on media properties from mult-platform branded content to executive producing feature films. Kirksey has spent his career finding creative ways to package technology, talent, brands and content together to develop marketable properties.
In 2000, he was the Associate VP of Marketing at Rawhide Internet Solutions where he developed marketing strategies for search engine platform ‘SearchBoss’ , co-developed ‘Brandbar,’ a search- based toolbar used by major universities and professional sports franchises and co-developed search cluster software. While at Rawhide the company grossed over $10 Million annually. In 2004, he launched a new division of IKON Model Management called IKON Athletes, packaging professional athletes in sports related mulit-platform marketing promotions. Jarrin has negotiated deals across multiple media platforms including branded events, and interactive media working with such brands as ESPN and Verizon. In 2007, he served as the VP of Digital Media at White LLC- a $100M film fund focusing on independent African-American genre films. In his role at White LLC, Jarrin researched and developed digital distribution and marketing strategies for films to be produced in the slate. In 2009, he produced his first independent film, Strawberry Wine, and in 2010, he executive produced Bed and Breakfast, the first English language feature to be released theatrically in Brazil. His unique experience in technology and marketing has informed Jarrin’s approach and led him to develop a strategy to leverage social media for market research, technology for financing, and both for the deployment feature films.
Jarrin graduated from the University of Toledo where he double Majored in Marketing with a concentration in E-Commerce.
Darrell Gunn - Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technical Officer, Darrell brings award-winning experience and 15+ years of highly reputed skill sets, which make him an invaluable asset to the growth and strategic direction to deliver best in breed technology solutions to meet the core goals of the company. Throughout his career, Darrell has leveraged his ability to add creativity to the technology process by designing customized solutions and is renowned throughout the industry for his state- of –the- art technology solutions.
Darrell started his career in 1994, working at Polygram Records, where he maintained and optimized network systems and interfaced with the creative department to deliver innovative solutions. Additionally, as the Director of New Technology for Def Jam Records, he provided strategic direction integrating interactive technology for enhanced marketing and communication, which earned him the AOL Award for best cyber site in 1996. Shortly thereafter, Gunn’s career propelled as a business development consultant providing innovative online promotions, unique applications and CRM systems and risk mitigation for such companies as, HBO, Music Choice, Tanqueray, Echo Unlimited, Cost Containment Group and United Health Programs.
Keenan Shaw - Chief Operating Officer
As a managing partner, Keenan provides internal and structural support for the company’s operations. Throughout his career, Keenan has concentrated his energy on finding balance between creative and finance. His core strengths are in critical assessment, evaluation, and implementation of new processes and structures that streamline workflows within each division. He communicates directly between management and Board of Directors ensuring the synchronization of service delivery and account settlements.
In 2004, he started his career in finance at Cantor Fitzgerald with emphasis in Foreign Exchange and Equities markets. In 2006, he worked as a financing consultant for grassroots arts and culture organizations. In 2007, he transitioned to the media space developing financing packages for multimedia finance company Omniverse Media, LLC. In 2008, he co-founded social networking site targeting models and entertainment professionals called Model Complex. In 2009, he co-produced independent film, Strawberry Wine. He is a graduate of Columbia University (Columbia College) majoring in American Studies with a concentration in Sociology (B.A 2006) where he was an All Ivy-League student athlete.
